FIVE DAY HOT LUNCH PROGRAM
On Tuesday August 24th, Columbus Torah Academy will start the first session of this year’s five day hot lunch program. The first session will be from August 24-January 14. A letter will be sent out at that time regarding the second session. Our menu will rotate as follows:

Pizza Bagels
Baked Ziti
Tuesday
Chicken Nuggets
Hamburgers
Tacos
Wednesday
Lasagna
Pizza
Grilled Cheese
Thursday
Deli Sandwich
Chicken Cutlets
Sloppy Joes
Friday
Tuna Scoop
Fish Sticks
On occasion, we will have Barbecued Chicken, Breaded Chicken, and Meatball Subs. All meals will include milk/ juice, fruit, vegetables and/or salads, bread, or bread alternate. Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwiches or Cheese Sandwiches(dairy ) will be available for students as a substitute for the main dish.

Volunteer Help
The PTO has traditionally supplied parent volunteers to help staff the kitchen from 10:30-12:30. PTO program is successful because of broad parent participation. At this time, we are not certain if parents will be allowed in the building due to COVID restrictions. However, if we are given the approval to resume having volunteers, WE WILL NEED YOU ONE DAY EACH MONTH! Please send an email to Karan Tanenbaum (ktanenbaum@torahacademy.org) indicating which day will be your volunteer day in this format:

Free Lunch Program
The Ohio Department of Education received approval to offer free lunch to all students attending schools on the national school lunch program through the entire 2021-2022 school year.
Explanation of Free Lunch:
Lunches for all students are free this year 2021-2022. A free lunch is a complete meal.
If a student wants a main dish only, the cost is $2.50
If a student wants seconds on the main dish, the cost is $2.50
If a student wants a side dish only, the cost is $ 0.75
Milk only is $0.40
